Laxmi Cotspin announced that on 10th December, 2018, the company started the commercial production of Oil and oil cake from cotton seeds.

Laxmi Cotspin Limited is Government of India Recognized Star Export House, manufacturing 100% Cotton Yarn, Cotton Bales, and Cotton Seed.

The company stated the manufacturing of the oil and oil cake from cotton seeds began immediately after getting approval from members. The plant is situated in the company premises connected to ginning division and for this purpose the company purchased 4 oil extraction expellers of reputed company.

The raw material that is cotton seed required for this production is produced in the ginning division of the company.

The company also stated that the finished oil and oil cake will be sold in all over Maharashtra under "Laxmi" brand.
