REPL published a press release announcing that the company got appointed as project management consultants for Moradabad Smart City.

Moradabad Smart City Limited awarded the Project Management Consultancy assignment to Delhi based firm, Rudrabhishek Enterprises Limited (REPL). The meeting was held under the chairmanship of CEO MSCL, Mr. Sanjay Chauhan in which Dr. Harish Kumar Sharma represented REPL.

Moradabad envisions retrofitting and redevelopment of 1260 acres selected local area. The retrofitted area is aimed to become a new socio-economic engine for the city's infrastructure.

As per the press release, REPL would support MSCL in overall management of Smart City Project, including project planning, budgeting, supervising, managing, monitoring and evaluating, reporting and coordination to ensure timely project development and implementation in line with Smart City Proposal and Smart Cities Mission. It was also informed that, REPL will assist in preparation of retrofit-redevelopment area based development master plan for earmarked area and pan city solution, preparation of detailed project reports for various packages and project design, develop, planning, management, implementation and supervision consultancy.

Mr. Harish Sharma told that the process of developing plans for Moradabad Smart City will focus on a systematic retrofitting and redevelopment approach and smart urban infrastructure services and also informed that the proposed project will impact livability of 20% inhabitants, improve livelihood with diverse mix of residential, commercial, retail and industrial development.

Moradabad"s pan city proposal would be focused in two key initiatives to be achieved that is ICT based interventions for promoting Moradabad business and e-governance management to provide improved citizen services.
