REPL made an announcement regarding prestigious OBPAS Project bagged by Rudrabhishek Infosystem, Wholly owned subsidiary of Rudrabhishek Enterprises Limited (REPL) from Government of Uttar Pradesh, for contractual period of five years - extendable to five more years.

REPL, through its wholly owned subsidiary RIPL has recently bagged a prestigious order for the implementation of OBPAS from housing and Urban planning department, government of Uttar Pradesh on a BOO (Build Operate Own) model. RIPL in consortium with an Indian software company will provide software solution for automating the process of scrutiny of building plans and granting the necessary approvals through OBPAS. The consortium will be responsible for the customization of a proven COTS (commercial off the shelf) application and operations and maintenance of the software application and the infrastructure for 5 years which is extendable to more 5 years at the end of the first term. The work order is for all 28 development authorities, 5 special area development authorities and 7 offices of UPAVP covering building and layout plan approvals for the entire state. The revenue stream from this project is on per square meter basis from the end customer.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Pradeep Mishra, Chairman and MD, Rudrabhishek Enterprises Limited (REPL) said that the company got the project on account of the experience in large scale project implementation. Mrs. Soumya Das, Director, RIPL added "OBPAS would be launched and open for customer access in the next 3 to 4 months. RIPL, thereafter, will be responsible for implementation and execution of the software on ground at the 40 locations over the period of next five years".
