Global Education announced its standalone HY1 financial result of FY2019-20 with an interim dividend of Rs.2.50 per share for the year 2019-20.

Global Education announced that the Board of directors declared an interim dividend of Rs.2.50 per equity share that is, 25% on face value of Rs.10 each per equity share for the FY2019-20 and stated the record date as 23rd November 2019 for the purpose of payment of interim dividend.

Global Education also declared its financial results for the half year ended September, 2019.The highlights of standalone financial results are as under:

1. The revenue reached Rs.13.82 crore against Rs.18.87 crore in a year ago

2. Net profit was Rs.3.18 crore where as it was Rs.4.09 crore in the preceding year same period.

3. PBT reached Rs.4.33 crore while last year same period it was Rs.5.21 crore.

4. Earnings per share for the current half year was Rs.12.84 as against Rs.16.50 in previous year corresponding period.The standalone revenue for the financial year 2018-19 was Rs.31.98 crore and the profit after tax was Rs.6.66 crore.

Following are the consolidated HY1 financial figures of FY2019-20 at Global Education:

1. Total revenue earned is Rs.13.82 crore against Rs.18.87 crore in a year ago period.

2. Net profit reached Rs.3.18 crore while last year same period it was Rs.4.09 crore

3. Earnings per share Rs.12.84 whereas last year same period it was Rs.16.32.

The total consolidated earnings at Global Education in the financial year 2018-19, was Rs.31.98 crore followed by PBT of Rs.9.29 crore and PAT was Rs.6.59 crore.
