Acewin Agriteck leased out prawn hatchery and dairy farming as a pilot project and intends to raise 300 crores for its integrated project.

Acewin Agriteck is planning to raise Rs.300 crore through equity or debt or a mix of both to expand its horizon into aquaculture and agriculture farming and processing in the coming months. The company has already leased out prawn hatchery and dairy farming projects in 300 acres area each.

According to Jesudas Premkumar, Managing Director of Acewin Agriteck Limited, the company will take the asset light-model route and is planning to expand its footprint in the US, Canada and Asian markets. Meanwhile, the company has already initiated trading of aquaculture products in overseas markets.

Acewin Agriteck is a software development and information technology company that has developed the first software product named "Aqua basic software" which accounts for traceability and accountability of food products. The company is now all set to diversify into prawn hatchery (aqua culture) and dairy farming too.
